her songs, her voice, her music, those WORDS, those worlds - came into my ears like a music box hurricane. the album was “soviet kitsch”…the first record i’d heard since high school that made me obsessed. i listened to it again and again and again, on a bike, in bed, in the car. i was so fucking glad she agreed to open up for my band. soon after, she got famous.

My The Bed Song scarf, which I’m selling for $25 + shipping.

It’s 6 feet long, with little bells on the ends, which are cut into points. The lyrics are painted in black, with the words in the song related to beds in red. The stencil is Times New Roman. On the very end is a bed I hand-painted in red.

If you are interested in buying it, please send me a message on here and we can discuss further over e-mail. The shipping price has not been determined, since I do not know how much it would cost, exactly.

I am also doing custom-order scarves. Those will be $50 +shipping, and can be any length, size, shape, color, whatever. The font will still remain the same, since that is the only stencil I have, but if I get a new one, I’ll let you know. Keep in mind that if you do order a custom scarf to give me at least a month to finish it, since I am in the middle of school and these things take tons of time. Also, if you choose a short scarf, pick a short song. There’s only so many lyrics a 4-foot scarf can fit.

I kind of took your whole comment about how “Girl Anachronism” is just a song about fitting in as many words as possible in one breath, as a challenge. I knew the song, but I’d never actually paid full attention to the lyrics until now!

I’ll admit, it was a mouthful, that’s for sure. And, no matter how many times I tried, there were a few spots I kept tripping over, but let’s see if this isn’t too bad. I haven’t listened to it, so I’m sorry if the quality is terrible, or it’s too loud of quiet.
